Session Theme:
Street Soccer
Street Soccer / 3v3 - 25 minutes
Set Up
20 x 25 field with Pugg nets at either end.
2 teams
One team wears pinnies
Implementation
As soon as players arrive, they should join in
the street soccer game. The game can be
adapted to suit the no. of players (e.g. 3v2,
4v4 or 3v3 with a neutral player)
Key Coaching Points
Let the players make up their own rules, they can choose to do throw-ins or not, whether to have
corners etc. The street soccer time should be used to allow players to catch up with friends and
burn off energy. It will also tire them out and help them to focus more during the session.

Implementation
Play the Game and Ensure Players Remember
the Basic Rules!
Have GK’s who are due to play in net for the
first travel game practice playing in net.

Ensure all players are helping the attack when you their team has possession of the
soccer ball, all players should help to defend when the other team has the ball.
Allow as many players as possible the opportunity to take free kicks, corners, throw-ins
etc.
