Q: If a resident is using oxygen, for transporting to and from therapy, can the tank stay in their room in
between or does it have to go back to the oxygen storage room?
A: The IDPH Life Safety Code (LSC) Section stated that the code requires that the oxygen tank be
returned to the storage room.
