APPRECIATION NIGHT
This special night is for all the parents and coaching staff to get together and celebrate
their achievements. It is also a good time to reflect on the highlights and funny moments
of the 2010 season. So come along and support your team and the Colts.

COLTS JERSEYS FOR SALE
We are currently ordering our new jerseys for the 2011-2013
seasons. These new jerseys will feature our new (and
existing) sponsors. They are a similar material to the current
ones and will look fantastic on our players.
As with previous years we will be offering the existing jerseys
for sale to current players first, and then onto others who
wish to purchase our jerseys.
Each team manager has an order sheet for their team.
The jerseys cost $30 each.
Existing players can choose their preferred number before
the jerseys are offered for general sale.
These jerseys are long lasting, comfortable and will make an
excellent training jersey for your children.

How YOU can help the club:
As this is a non for profit club and roles are voluntary, we rely on the help from parents to make the
club work. Your contribution is vital and does not need to be every week. The areas we need help
with are;

Canteen/BBQ – we require at least two parents/persons from each team to man the
canteen and/or BBQ for 30 mins prior to the game where their child is playing.
Raffles – as a club we run weekly raffles at our major sponsor, the Mill Hotel on a Friday
evening between 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm. Each week we will nominate a team to send
volunteers for the following week. Let us know if you cannot make it.
Sponsors – support our local sponsors when shopping locally. Make sure you mention that
you are a Milperra Colts member.

General Announcements:
1. Wet Weather Number – Ring 1300655180 after 2.00 pm to see if Killara is open, if the field
is open there will be training, unless your Manager has contacted you otherwise.
2. Text Messages when games are Called Off – When the games are called off (like last
weekend) a text message is sent to The Committee, The Managers and The Coaches of
every Team to advise them. The Managers then send a message to their players – it
would be appreciated if every player checks that they have given their manager the
correct mobile number to be contacted on as this will save a lot of confusion. It is also
manners to reply to the message, so the person who sent the text knows that it has
been received – a simple “thanks or OK” is enough but is greatly appreciated. If a
player or parent is in any doubt, a call to your Manager is the best option.
