From I-95 northbound:
Travel on I-95 North towards Wilmington. As you approach Wilmington you will see the
downtown area ahead and to your right, take Exit 7, for Delaware Avenue. At the end of
the exit ramp (at the traffic light) bear right onto Adams Street, which runs parallel to the
interstate, and stay in the right hand lane. Adams Street intersects with Delaware
Avenue just past Trinity Episcopal Church. Make a right turn onto Delaware Avenue.
Stay in the left lane, which becomes 11th Street. Go three blocks to Orange Street, turn
left onto Orange Street and enter the first garage entrance, “Community Service
Parking.”
From I-95 southbound:
Travel on I-95 towards Wilmington. As you approach Wilmington you will see the
downtown area ahead and to your left. Take the second exit for Delaware Avenue, Exit
7A . This will put you onto 11th Street. Stay in the left lane, through the “X” intersection,
go three more blocks to Orange Street, turn left onto Orange Street and enter the first
garage entrance, “Community Service Parking.”
From the Community Service Parking Garage:
Exit the parking garage by the elevators or stairs adjacent to the elevators. Turn right
out of the garage and cross 11th Street. Walk one block to 10th Street and cross there,
(Dry Cleaners on the corner); then cross Orange Street to your left. You should be
directly in front of the Community Services Building. Enter by the revolving door at the
center of the building. You will need to sign into the building at the Security Desk. The
YWCA Delaware is located on the 5th floor.
Parking Information: The YWCA Delaware can only validate parking in the Community
Service Parking Garage, located at 11th and Orange Street. Please bring your parking
ticket with you to be validated. If the lot is FULL or not open, you will need to look for
street parking (most meters are two hour limit) or try the public lot on Orange Street
between 8th and 9th, rates are posted.
