How to Print an Internal Transcript Summary Please note that in an effort to ensure the complete accuracy of all transcript information converted from the old system of record into ConnectCarolina, the Office of the University Registrar manually validates every transcript, official or unofficial, before it is issued to a student. Any transcript that has data prior to Fall 2010 must be validated for accuracy. This process occurs as soon as a student requests a transcript the first time out of ConnectCarolina. The negative service indicator entitled Historical Transcript Hold is placed on the student’s transcript request. (This negative service indicator alerts the Registrar’s validation team to check the transcript for accuracy.) Once the transcript is validated, the negative service indicator is removed from the student's record and the record is then considered to be completely accurate. Student Requests a Transcript in ConnectCarolina Historical Transcript Hold service indicator placed on transcript request OUR Transcript Validation team checks transcript for accuracy Historical Transcript Hold service indicator removed The student record is considered accurate Before issuing an internal transcript to a student, it is imperative that you first check to see if the student still has an Historical Transcript Hold on their record. If they do, please submit a request to [email protected] to initiate the validation process for the student requesting an internal transcript. Steps: 1. Check the students Record for a Historical Transcript Hold 2. Go to the Holds section on either Advisor Center or Student Services Center (Student). If the student has an Historical Transcript Hold submit a validation request to [email protected] to initiate the validation process for the student requesting an internal transcript. If the student does not have Historical Transcript Hold you may continue following the steps below. 3. Print an Internal Transcript 4. Go to Records and Enrollment > Transcripts > Transcript Requests How to Print an Internal Transcript 5. Click the Add a New Value Tab 6. Request Header Tab a. Set the Transcript Type to INTRN b. Set the Output Destination to PAGE 7. Request Detail Tab a. Enter the Student PID in the ID field. Note: Tab out of the field so that you can verify the student name. 8. Process Request a.
