About Us
We are embarking on an ambitious journey at Families First Bedfordshire (FfB) to
engage with the most vulnerable communities in our society. Part of this will be
the launch of our new ‘Horizons’ service which will support women and their
children who have been exposed to domestic abuse, substance misuse or mental
ill-health. The Play Therapist will support up to 36 children per year by providing
12 weekly one to one sessions, predominantly in Bedford Borough schools.

What we can offer you

You will be well supported by the Horizon’s Team. We will provide a safe and
secure environment for you work in and all expenses such as travel and external
supervision will be met by the Charity. Ongoing support and mentoring will be
provided to the successful candidate through monthly line management
supervisions.
