Call for Musicians with Disabilities

Background: VSA Texas has been invited to participate in Austin
Public Library’s Library Live music series by hosting a quarterly
concert series at the Carver Branch featuring musicians with
disabilities. This series is designed to provide an accessible venue for
both aspiring and established musicians with disabilities.
Details: Concerts are held Saturday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 PM at
the Carver Branch Library, located at 1161 Angelina Street, Austin,
TX 78702. Each act gets 25 minutes of stage time.
Requirements:
 Either you or AT LEAST ONE member of your band must have
some disability.
 You must complete and submit the attached entry form to Eric
Clow at VSA Texas. Contact information can be found on the
entry form.
 You must submit samples of your music. Link(s) to your
website, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, Facebook and/or
other sites you use are acceptable. You can also submit videos
of past performances and/or audio files (MP3, M4A, WAV,
AIFF) via YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, or Google Drive. Last,
you are welcome to mail us a CD, cassette tape, and/or vinyl
record at our address listed on the entry form. Submitting more
high quality recordings will increase your chances of being
selected, so send as much as you like!
Please Note: This is a form for interest in participating in this concert
series. You will be contacted upon review of the attached entry form.
An invitation to play in the concert series does not guarantee you will
have a slot during the same quarter when you apply. You may be
asked to play at a later date when other musicians of your specific
genre are also scheduled to play. If you have any questions, please
