Enhancing librarians’ roles
The ubiquitous librarian
Our “bold librarians” are encouraged to comment from the sidelines.
For a sense of how a young critic views our work, see various entries in

Understanding
Library Commons memo of understanding
The Library Commons are an important collaboration between the Library and the
Office of Information Technology to define the vision and the design of the
Undergraduate Learning Center. The Library Commons is composed of the West
Commons, the East Commons, and the Resource Center. This memo of
understanding outlines the essential service, funding, leadership and governance
elements that sustain the endeavor, mitigate confusion and conflict, and clarify
responsibilities of the parties to assure uninterrupted success.
