TRAINING PLAN
Malcolm added five sessions of 1:1
high intensity assisted training to his
regular training program. Malcolm
ramped up his training five weeks prior
to his tournament. He focussed on
machines B5 and B1 to help support
and strengthen around the knee joint
as well as F1, F2 and F3 to strengthen
the core.
RESULTS
During the start of Malcolm’s assisted
training program, he was not
consistently hitting his target TUL
(time under load) for specific exercises.
By the end of the 5th session, Malcolm
became more consistent and was able
to push himself harder and increased
the intensity of his sessions.
