GUIDE TO UPLOAD DATA FOR
SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL
INSTALLATION

Guide for uploading data for Solar Photovoltaic Panel Installation:
1. User have to enter into AICTE Web Portal with URL http://www.aicte-india.org/ as below:
2. Here users have to click on link named as Login for AICTE Web Portal as highlighted above. It will
open following window.

3. In the above screen, users have to enter their credentials to login into Application.
4. User will be directed to Application page, once entering valid credentials as below:
5. Here users have to click on dropdown button available on top-right side and then users have to
click on Solar Panel Installation Details as follow:

6. This will open an application form with Application – Header with details like Current Application
Number, Permanent Institute Id, Name of the Institute & Academic Year as below:
7. It also has Solar Panel Installation Details form where users have to fill data accordingly.
8. This form contains following fields which are mandatory and they are:

Total land available (in Sq. m.)
Land available for placing solar photovoltaic panels (in sq. m)
No. of buildings with roof tops
Total approximate roof- top area available for placing solar photovoltaic panel (in sq.m.)
Annual electricity consumption (No. of units) during 2013-14
Average rate per unit paid during 2013-14 (Rs. / unit)
Renewable Energy, if any, used at present – If fields value selected as ‘Yes’ then its mandatory to fill
Renewable Energy Type otherwise it becomes read-only.
Whether a policy has been adopted to use only LED lamps?

9. If users skip any of these mandatory field , application will show appropriate message for each
mandatory field as below:
If user selects ‘Yes’ for Renewable Energy, if any, used at present then Renewable Energy Type is mandatory
to fill.

If user selects ‘No’ for Renewable Energy, if any, used at present then Renewable Energy Type becomes readonly field as below:
10. After filling all data users have to submit form. This can be done by clicking on ‘Submit’ button.
Once users click on Submit button, message is displayed as follows:

11. Once users click on ‘OK’ button, entire form become non editable i.e. read-only as shown below.
