9 up Team Time Trial Cycling Event

A unique and eagerly awaited, charity fund raising event - now in its 5th year
Access to Silverstone parking, garage areas / sign on from 5pm
Access to the track for warm up from 6pm
Track cleared for event by 6:40pm
Hand cycling event commences at approximately 6:45pm
Up to 80 Teams dispatched from pit lane from 7pm onwards
Trophy presentations approximately 9pm
The team race covers 3 laps of the Silverstone F1 Track – approximately 11 miles
Entry fee for 2016 is £270.00 per team, with all proceeds going to charity –
last year we all raised over £12,000 for The Princes Trust, JDRF and Hand Cycling UK
Teams are invited to participate in the following events:
Men’s Team : timed on 5th member to finish
Ladies’ Team : timed on 5th member to finish
Mixed : which requires either 3 ladies, 2 men to finish, or 3 men and 2 ladies to finish
Vets : which can be mixed in any combo – 5th member time taken at finish
Juniors : which can be mixed in any combo – 5th member time taken at finish

We are pleased to announce that all profits will once again be
distributed to local and nationally recognised Charities. One of
our current and long supported charity partners is the Hand
Cycling Association UK.
BMCC are proud to have been able to generate funds from the past events that have facilitated the purchase of
equipment that has supported Hand Cyclists enjoy taster sessions, get into the sport and further develop their riding
skills and expertise, and we are very pleased to welcome their participation in 2016.

Due to the popularity of this event we ask that club requests are limited to 3 teams per club initially. We
propose to run a reserve list and will invite those clubs wanting a 4th and 5th slot if space permits nearer the
time…..for everyone who has had the opportunity to enjoy this event in the past we hope you understand that
we are keen to share the experience around, but we do value everyone’s support so will do what we can to
achieve team entries but ultimately we have to ensure safety and enjoyment of the night is ‘top’.
Further details on the rules, the timings for the evenings activities, and countdown news in the run up to the 10th
June will be circulated on the web site, on facebook, and directly to those that have secured team places and who
have expressed an interest in joining us.
Rules and regs (such as no TT bikes – this is for road bikes only) will be circulated in advance of the event, when sign
on sheets will be distributed to nominated team captains.
