Functioning
Electromagnetic drive device for baby bed is aimed to be attached to baby beds equipped with
the pendulum rocking device.
Electromagnetic drive device is mounted onto the support structure (the pendulum base). The
constant magnet which interacts with the electric magnet of the electromagnetic drive device
is attached to the movable part of the pendulum so that its position will be displaced in
comparison to the position of the electromagnetic drive device in the direction of rolling. The
controller periodically connects the electric magnet to a power supply and the constant magnet is
pushed away from the electric magnet; this leads to the occurrence of shaking impulses at the
moving part of the pendulum and so the baby bed rocks.
Completeness of set
1. operating block – 1 piece
2. carrier – 1 piece
3. remote control unit – 1 piece
4. operating block – 1 piece
5. constant magnet – 1 piece
6. tapping screw – 4 pieces
7. screw M4 – 2 pieces
Assembly instructions
1. Install the carrier of position 1 to the support structure (the pendulum base) using the tapping
screws of position 2 (Picture 1).
Picture 1. The mounting of the carrier
2. By making light tapping with a non-metal object on the magnet, install the constant magnet of
position 5 to the mounting hole of the movable part of the pendulum (Picture 2). ATTENTION!
When the magnet is installed its label should be inward-directed to the inside of the mounting
hole.

3. Install the operating block of position 1 to the supporting carrier using screws of position 7
(Picture 3).

4. Set the 1, 5-2 mm gapping between the operating block and the constant magnet (Picture 4).

Rules of installation
1. Limit of error of positioning of the constant magnet over the label on the operating block shall
not exceed 2 mm.

moving element of the pendulum
2. The distance from the operating block to the constant magnet shall be 1, 5 – 2 mm.
3. The device shall be in repulsion not pulling.
4. The pendulum shall be working without excessive friction or physical interference.

Picture 5. Remote control box
When the power is on, using the buttons A and B you can set the speed (rocking amplitude): “+”
or “-” (increase or decrease); there are 3 speed rates. After the start the device runs at the first
speed. Default: time of rocking is 20 minutes (without any signal from the remote control box);
if you increase or decrease the speed the time of rocking will start anew and the time will be also
20 minutes at each speed rate. After the stated time, the device will stop working. If you press
the button D (Stop), the device will stop working immediately, if you press the button C (Start),
you will re-start the work.
Common troubles and remedies
#
Trouble
Cause of a trouble and
remedies
Cause of a trouble
The power supply unit is not
connected to the electric
network.
The power supply unit is not
connected to the operating
block.
No voltage on the electric
network
Cause of a trouble
There is the increased friction
within the bearing
mechanisms of the pendulum.
There are any objects
preventing rolling (ex.:
curtain, wall).
There is an object swinging in
the opposite direction inside
the crib (ex.: a plaid blanket is
hanging from the frame of the
crib).
1.
The crib is not rocking
2.
The crib rocks during short period of time, than
stops.
3.
The crib rocks badly. At maximum speed rate the
rocking amplitude is low (less than 2 cm).
Cause of a trouble
The device works in pulling,
not repulsion, as the magnet is
wrong polarity installed.
The gapping between the
constant magnet and the
operating block is too large.
There is wrong operative
relationship between the
constant magnet and the
operating block.
4.
The device does not react or react badly to signals
from the remote control box.
Cause of a trouble
Remote control box battery is
discharged.
