HOW IT WORKS
This is a direct sale program. Products are distributed to volunteers who sell product directly to the consumer. Funds are
collected at the point of sale. That means you will be purchasing your products from us and then reselling them for a
profit. This is a great program if funds are needed quickly.
Who will coordinate your fundraiser?
This person should be organized and is vital to your success. Choose someone passionate about your project.
When will fundraising meetings occur?
Hold weekly meetings to foster accountability. Have a clear focus as people’s time is valuable.
What is your goal?
This will help you to know how much product you will need. Set clear goals in terms of how much your group needs to
raise. Set forth exactly how the money will be used.
How to sell?
Divide carriers among kids and charge $1-$2 per pretzel. Have one child hold pretzels while the other collects money.
Children should not sell products they don’t understand. Everyone loves chocolate and children understand that easily.
How to stay safe?
Make sure each child who is selling the pretzels is always accompanied by an adult. Always put money away and out
of sight. Children should also sell to family and friends.
