www.dake-wells.com BRANDON DAKE, AIA, LEED AP Brandon is responsible for the business management of the practice. This talent is key to his championship success with multiple fantasy sports teams. Brandon Dake, AIA, has over seventeen years of architecture and project management experience. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1994. His studies emphasized design as well as computer generated modeling and animation. He has strong business management abilities as well as leadership in design and project management. Brandon is responsible for the business management of the practice. Following graduation, Brandon worked for an award winning lighting designer at an interior architecture firm in St. Louis. In 1997, he moved to Springfield, Missouri and began working at the largest architecture and engineering firm in Southwest Missouri. Brandon's strong technical and management skills proved effective while working on high rise hotels and convention centers across the country. After receiving his license in 1999, Brandon began designing and managing complex renovation projects for churches and education clients. In 2004, his efforts were recognized when he was named one of Springfield Business Journal's “40 under 40”. Later that same year his leadership qualities were expanded as he was selected to participate in Leadership Springfield, Class XX. Since the founding of Dake Wells Architecture, Brandon has focused his efforts on inspiring and environmentally friendly spaces for growing educational clients. His leadership on the recent project for Exeter Schools has received national acclaim including a national Honor Award for Interiors from the American Institute of Architects. DAKE | WELLS architecture Brandon has a passion for education and the development of young people. He participates regularly in mentoring programs and career days for local schools. He is also actively involved with children’s programs at his church. Brandon is licensed in the state of Missouri to practice architecture, is currently the President of the Springfield component of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Council of Education Facility Planners International, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
