Developing Youth
Athletes with Great
Character and Talent.
Welcome
Gainesville Soccer Alliance (GSA) is a volunteerbased, non-profit organization. The organization was
formed to provide high caliber soccer training and
competition for community youth. The coaching staff
consists of a director of coaching, licensed coaches
and experienced trainers who are committed to
developing high-level soccer skills and techniques, as
well as good sportsmanship, teamwork and character
development. Honoring the game while fostering fun
and friendship is the goal.
Parents of GSA players are automatically club
members and are required to participate in club and/or
team activities. Club meetings are held the 2nd Sunday
of every month, and any member is welcome. All
board positions are volunteers who share a common
interest in developing competitive youth soccer. The
members elect GSA’s Board of Directors annually in
May. GSA is currently fundraising toward the goal of
building soccer fields in Gainesville in 2006.
