Transition Plan – Board Transition
• Any current elected official can choose to retain their seat on the
Board of Trustees OR continue in the corresponding leadership
position in the Council of Directors or Board-directed
Committees. (I choose to remain as Region IV Director)
• Open positions on the Board and Council will be addressed as
needed as part of the 2017 election. (Open positions announced)
• Open chair positions for Board-directed Committees are filled by
Board appointments.
• The exact plan cannot be determined until after the current
Board members have made their decisions as to which position
they wish to fill. (Governance Retreat to be held at Space 2016)
• Provisions have been added to the Bylaws to address transition
of elected officers.
• Liaison positions discontinued; roles moved to the Council.

 Parts may need some updating, especially in the governance transition, but a good place for
answering questions
