Type here 8 Investment Grant NWO Large 2017-2018 1 General information 2 Requested facility 3 Declaration/signature 2.4 Literature references Please provide a list of literature or publications cited in this application. Include full biographical details. If relevant, key publications of the participating research groups can be concisely included in section 2.5. Type here 2.5 Other relevant information Type here 2.6 Data management Responsible data management is part of good research. For the collection/generation of data and the analysis of this data, timely measures need to be taken to ensure the storage and later reuse of the data. This means that prior to the realisation of a research infrastructure applicants must ascertain a) which data could be relevant and b) how these data could be stored so that they are accessible for reuse. After a proposal has been awarded funding, the applicants will draw up a detailed data management plan in which the applicants explain how all relevant data research data will be made Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). NWO understands ‘data’ to be both collected, unprocessed data as well as analysed, generated data. Under this definition all forms are conceivable; digital and non-digital (for example samples, completed questionnaires, sound recordings, etc.). NWO only requests storage of reusable relevant data. Please answer the following questions: 1. Will data be collected or generated that are suitable for reuse? If yes, then answer questions 2 to 4. If no, then explain why the research infrastructure will not deliver reusable data or data that cannot be stored or data that for other reasons are not relevant for reuse. Type here 2. If it is a task of the research infrastructure, where will the data be stored during the use of the research infrastructure? Type here 3. If it is a task of the research infrastructure, where will the data be stored after the use of the research infrastructure? To whom will the data be accessible? Type here 4. Which facilities (ICT, (secure) archive, refrigerators or legal expertise) do you expect will be needed for the storage of data during the research and, if applicable, after the research? Are these available, or are they included in the budget?* *ICT facilities for data storage are considered to be resources such as data storage capacity, bandwidth for data transport and calculating power for data processing.
