Timecoder™ Pro 6.4.960
inData has released version 6 of Timecoder Pro, its popular video deposition synchronization
application. This new version adds support for the increasingly preferred MPEG-4 file format,
providing high-quality video at lower bit rates. Additionally, Timecoder Pro 6 includes a new
management console, dubbed the Administrator, providing users with increased flexibility in
optimizing their workflow, including project tracking, customizable activity and billing reports, quickaccess to technical resources, real-time monitoring of job progress and more.

This upgrade is available free of charge to all Timecoder Pro users and can be obtained by either:
a) Logging into the timecoding account through the “File” menu of the software, or
b) Selecting “Upgrade Now” on the splash screen that appears when Timecoder Pro is
launched.
Due to significant database changes made to support the new project management features, this
upgrade is a new installation and will be linked to a newly created user account. When the upgrade
is requested through one of the methods identified in the previous paragraph, the administrator of
record will receive an email containing a software download link, an installation serial number and
login credentials to access their new Timecoder Pro 6 account.
Users may begin using Timecoder Pro 6 immediately after installation; however, to utilize the
RapidSync, AutoSync or Send to inData features, users must first fund their new version 6 account by
either:
a) Transferring previously purchased credits from the prior version account to the version 6
account by calling 800-828-8292, or
b) Funding the account with a new purchase through the Administrator console, “Fund
Account”.
Please note that once version 6 has been installed, users may continue to use their earlier version
software. However, effective April 1, 2012, users will only be able to purchase RapidSync or AutoSync

credits for their version 6 account. Prior versions of Timecoder Pro will continue to operate as normal
after that date with the exception that users will not be able to purchase additional credits for use
with their prior versions.
