REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PRICE QUOTATIONS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF WATER WORKS

Kindly furnish me a written quotation for the supply of goods/services as detailed above. Good to be delivered in Port Nolloth
at the municipal building.
The quotation must be submitted on the letterhead of your business and can be posted or delivered by hand not later than 25

or faxed to 027 851 1101.

During office hours between 8:00-16:30 from 22 November 2016 at the Supply Chain Unit at no cost.
The following conditions will apply







An original Tax Clearance Certificate must be submitted.
Price(s) quoted must be valid for at least thirty (30) days from your date of offer.
Price(s) quoted must be firm and inclusive of VAT.
A firm delivery period must be indicated.
The quotation will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in the Preferential
Procurement Policy Framework Act (No 5 of 2000) and the Preferential Procurement Regulations: 2011. For this
purpose the enclosed forms MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8 and MBD 9 must be scrutinised, completed and submitted
together with your quotation. An original or certified B-BBEE Certificate must also be submitted.
Only service providers that are registered on the central supplier database will be eligible for evaluation.
Criteria for scoring are: 80 points for Price and 20 for B-BBEE Status Level of Contribution in terms of the Preferential
Procurement Regulations of 2011.
