We are facilitating a variety of holiday promotions to invite the community to support local
businesses. Please see below for details.
Deadline: Please let us know by Wednesday, November 5 if you are interested in
participating by returning this form (click on the box choices, Save, and email your form to
[email protected] OR print and fax to 303-774-4433). You can do any or all of the
options listed below.

Shop it. LOCAL. The LDDA has been selected to be a Neighborhood Champion of Small Business
Saturday this year (NOV. 29)! BUSINESSES DO NOT NEED TO ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS TO PARTICIPATE.


We have FREE resources (reusable shopping bags, doormats, dog bandanas, pins,
balloons, etc.) for those businesses that would like to participate. These resources are
to be used on Saturday, November 29.
If you are doing something special in your business on that day, please let us know so
we can promote it on our site & in our resources. Be sure to post anything to our web
site or e-mail the info to [email protected].

Tell it. Let us know what you are doing in your business. LDDA will utilize its
web site, emails and social media to promote the holiday season.

Post your events, sales, promotions – anything happening in your business on the LDDA
web site calendar (under submit event). If you can’t submit it yourself, send the details
to [email protected] and we will add it.
Track it. Help us track who is shopping dOWNtown. LDDA will be promoting “It
Pays to Own Downtown” by offering gift card drawings using social media and in-store entries. Throughout
the season, 5 weekly winners will be chosen via social media for $25 dOWNtown gift cards! A grand prize
winner of $100 gift card will be chosen from the in-store entry boxes the beginning of January.


Post it. Take pictures or encourage your customers to take selfies of how they OWN
downtown in your businesses.
Encourage them (or post it yourself) to let us know how they owned downtown. Be sure

Track it. LDDA will provide “Own it and Win” boxes and reply cards for people to submit
information in the store! Please display somewhere prominent in your store.

at your business in 2015.

Shop Downtown Spadea, Thursday, November 27 – Thanksgiving Day!
 The LDDA will purchase a Spadea (front page wrap on Times Call) to promote
holiday shopping, businesses & events Downtown.
 The Times Call will be offering business ads in an additional Spadea (2 nd section
of the newspaper) for businesses to purchase. Quarter Page ads will be $150.
Downtown Page, Friday, November 28 – BLACK FRIDAY!
 A full color 3.4” by 3.5” square is $79. The more we get – the more we can fill!
