GRADE 1/2 SUPPLY LIST 2017-2018

PLEASE LABEL ALL STUDENT SUPPLIES WITH CHILD’S NAME
The following is a list of items that students should have for the year:

backpack

pair of indoor runners with non-marking soles (Velcro shoes are recommended for
those still learning to tie laces independently)

set of earphones/earbuds (to use with Computer’s –please place in a labeled Ziploc
bag) (Dollar Store, etc.)

boxes of Kleenex

writer’s notebook (this will be the child’s own special book to record
thoughts and ideas in writing. Please choose a book that is coil bound
with a hard/cardboard cover. Also, the book should have about 80 or
more lined pages. It would be wonderful if the cover of the book could be
decorated with pictures of people, animals, and activities that are
important to your child. (For example, this could include photographs of
family members, friends, pets, music, sports, favorite places.) We will
share and use our notebooks on our first day together.

This Supply Fee will cover the following items to be purchased in bulk by the
school: Student Agenda Book, binders, duo tangs, loose leaf, notebooks,
dividers, crayons, white glue/glue sticks, scissors, ruler, paints, pencils,
erasers, etc.
You may send cash or cheque payable to: Emerson Elementary School.
The first day of school is WEDNESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 6, 2017, Day 2.
Entry bell is at 9:25 a.m. and Dismissal
will be at the regular time of 3:55 p.m.
