Grading Guide for NTMA Machine Tool Theory One
Al Dullinger – Bedford High School NTMA Instructor
1) The final exam is worth 50% of your grade.
2) The three quizzes will be worth 10% each for your final grade (30% total).
3) The note book check-off grade will be worth a total of 10% of your overall
grade. The books will be checked four times, once during each quiz, and
again during the final exam. The four grades will be averaged for the final
notebook total.
4) Homework will be worth 10% of your grade. All homework assignments will
be averaged together for your final homework total score. Homework
includes in class work, and the required make-up work for being absent.
5) The subtotals above, with the exception of the final exam, will be averaged
together for 50% of your final grade. This score and the final exam score
will then be averaged together for your final grade.
