BrightLogic Membrane Pump The new BrightLogic membrane pump has been designed to deliver excellent flowrate consistency, even with highly viscous products. Sharing all of the tried and tested components of the established BrightLogic peristaltic pump range, the membrane pump allows for an easy upgrade, with the opportunity to mix and match up to 10 pumps for a truly versatile chemical dosing system. Key Features - All the benefits of the BrightLogic range, with a membrane. • Excellent suction characteristics, even with viscous products – up to 1.5L/min flow rate (water). Our laboratory tests demonstrate our pumps’ constant flow rate of up to 1.0L/min with viscous chemicals (250cps) • • Excellent flow rate consistency, even with thicker chemicals Completely self-priming – With the press of a button, the large membrane will generate a strong suction to draw in chemical, and the smart system of asymmetric umbrella valves will create a seal that maintains a head of pressure in the inlet tube and chamber. Our units present good dry-running characteristics, which means that the membrane has good resistance to wear during the priming time or should chemicals run out. • • Limited maintenance – no pump tube changes saves cost Chemical resistance – Specific choice of materials to allow the use of the most aggressive chemicals, including a derivative of PTFE for the membrane and umbrella valves in extreme Viton Limit maintenance to the bare minimum: No pump tube changes saves cost BrightLogic Membrane Pump BrightLogic High Flow Pump BrightLogic OPL Pump Mix and match any BrightLogic unit Find out more! Watch our BrightLogic Laundry demonstration video to learn all about the shared benefits of the range, or contact our experienced sales team now! Mix and match any BrightLogic laundry pump to create your ideal dosing station. High-flow peristaltic, low-flow peristaltic and membrane pumps will all work together linked to the same motherboard. You can also upgrade your current BrightLogic installation in minutes by simply replacing the peristaltic lid assembly by a membrane lid assembly. Easy. A membrane pump, also known as a diaphragm pump, uses the movement of a membrane and two valves to pump chemical. Asymmetric umbrella check valves allow alternating throughput of chemical causing directional flow through the pump. Due to their design, membrane pumps generally display good suction characteristics and can handle relatively viscous chemicals. With a 70mm effective diameter and 5mm stroke length, Brightwell’s membrane can pump up to 1.5L/min.* *test in laboratory with water. Further tests show a flow rate of 1000ml/min with a viscous product (viscosity 250cps).
