Medical Assistant Externship Attendance Record
Attendance in the Medical Assistant Clinical Office Practicum is required. All students must
complete 27 full days of experience. Schedules will vary between clinics and departments. If a
student has the opportunity to choose to work an extended, an evening shift, or a Saturday, the
schedule may be adjusted.
If a student must be absent for any reason, he/she is expected to call your office and his/her
instructor before the time he/she was scheduled to report. If he/she is absent and does not call in,
please notify Kim Suo (715-246-6561, ext. 4278) immediately.
Any missed experience must be made up. If evening or weekend hours are available, these may be
used. Otherwise, additional clinical days will have to be scheduled after May 11th.
