CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
As Chief Executive Officer of Orange Leaf Yogurt, Reese Travis
is continually creating innovative ways to lead his team and
grow the Orange Leaf brand. As a former franchisee, he’s not
only concerned with the company on the corporate level, he is
equally committed to the franchisees’ individual success.
As a former University of Oklahoma 2000 National
Championship football team member, Travis knows a thing or
two about being part of a winning team. In fact, he credits his
college football career with a valuable life lesson: Everyone
wants to be a winner. Those who actually achieve victory do
so because they have the desire to win.
Travis has been with Orange Leaf since summer of 2009,
when his group began franchising. Since purchasing the
company in 2010, it has expanded from just 15 stores to
more than 225 stores now open nationwide, and about 125
coming soon.
Prior to Orange Leaf, Travis was celebrated for Sales Excellence
in Distributorship and Region and Individual Product Growth
at DePuy Orthopedics, Johnson and Johnson’s orthopedics
implant company.
A graduate of Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, OK,
Travis spent his early years on Air Force Bases from Ohio to
Alabama, and from Naples, Italy, to Oklahoma, where he
eventually put down roots.
Travis and wife, Laynie, were married in 2003 and now have
four children. A self-proclaimed health-fanatic, his favorite
guilty pleasure is – you guessed it – lots of toppings on his
Orange Leaf Yogurt.
