THE NEED
The customer wanted an iPhone application that determines
who would pay the bill from a group of people. They
conceptualized a gesture based application that would rotate
when flicked and then stop by pointing in a particular direction.
The person to whom the application points is the one who will
pay the bill.

OUR SOLUTION
Aspire’s team consisted of engineers who are experts in
application development for multiple handheld platforms. The
engineers developed an application with a seamless and
intuitive interface in a span of 3 weeks.

APPLICATION FEATURES
The application is activated by swiping the image displayed in
the center. The rotation speed of the central image is based on
the gesture’s intensity. The image can be customized in the
settings section of the application.
While the image rotates, the text “Who Pays?” is flashed in
various languages with an audio clip playing in the background.
Different languages have been incorporated since the
application will be used by people from around the world.
When the pointer stops, the language of the displayed text is
shown.
To enhance user experience, the UI has been completely
customized with high resolution images and provides a
different theme from usual iPhone apps.
The application also contains another screen for bill calculation
and sharing. Its interface provides options to add the bill
amount, discounts, if any, the tip amount based on the service
and the distribution of the bill according to the total number of
people sharing.
Another screen provides a configuration screen where the
following things can be configured.
Currency to be displayed.
The rotating image.
Toggling permission to round the total bill calculation
amount.

¬ Toggling the ability to restore the application to default
setting by shaking the device.
