Through its program — Connecting Women Leaders in Technology —
ISACA will provide a robust platform to:
• Attract more women into the technology professions
• Provide support tools to advance and sustain a woman’s trajectory
through her career lifecycle
• Offer educational opportunities to develop skills and increase
knowledge to further enhance women’s leadership within the global
technology workforce
Engage. Empower. Elevate.
Why is this important?
• Diversity in the workplace helps everyone
•
•
A 2016 Peterson Institute for International Economics working paper found that having women in leadership
positions aligned with a 15% increase in profitability, on average
According to a 2014 Gallup Poll, men and women have different viewpoints, ideas and market insights, which
strengthens problem-solving and improves business performance
• Technology professions face a growing workforce shortage
•
•
Women represent 40% of the world’s workforce but only 25% of the tech industry
Attracting more women to tech can provide the necessary skills and reduce the shortage
• ISACA has a global and cross-industry presence
•
ISACA has the ability to play a significant role in inspiring and facilitating change
According to a recent ISACA Survey:
