Student Expectations Management Plan Each student has a clip on a behavior chart (see below) Students who exhibit out of the ordinary positive behavior throughout the day may be moved up on the chart to purple or pink. If a student reaches the top they will receive a jewel on their clip. If a student is not following classroom expectations, their clip is moved to yellow If the behavior continues the clip is moved to orange and may receive a natural consequence or loss of privilege(laps at recess or time out) Further lack of following expectations may result in parent contact. A parent may also be contacted if a student is repeatedly moving to yellow or orange. Any additional difficulties, the student will go to the office and receive a disciplinary referral. If a student decides to make better choices, their clip is moved back up. If a student moves to red at any point during the day, it will still result in parent contact regardless. Some serious offences may result in immediate office referral, such as fighting, gross disrespect etc. A student will lose the privilege of going to the PBIS Celebration if they have 6 days during the month where their clip lands on yellow, orange or red. Classroom Reward System Individual “Caught being good” (students receive a turk ticket for exhibiting positive behavior. There will be a drawing for prizes at the school wide celebration.) Clip Up!
