1. WHY?

Preparing for the future...
Aging of Churches and Faith and Light… We need young friends
PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE: We need people capable of taking on
responsibilities at all levels, provincial and international. We must
work on the leadership…
We need people with goodwill who are also well prepared and well
trained. A good heart and a good head. Attitude and ability. To
examine the call of Jesus…
We have to specifically work with young friends through an
experience that is adapted to their needs and their age…
There was a similar experience at Deltebre in 2004, with very good
results for the young people who took part.

To work on the FORMATION of future
leaders and people able to take on
responsibilities within Faith and Light
Examine the VOCATION of Faith and
Light
Have an international EXPERIENCE of
Faith and Light
Strengthen the bonds of COMMUNION
Reinforce the human and spiritual
growth of the participants.
Create a listening and helping space,
work as a team and celebrate together
3. RECIPIENTS
Friends from Faith and Light communities
aged 18 to 28 years old
Criteria
1) To have been in Faith and Light for at least three years
2) To have the ability to be a leader
3)To have a real and steady commitment to Faith and Light
The meeting is not aimed at young friends who have
recently joined or want to get to know the movement better
Each PROVINCE will be able to send a DELEGATION of 3
friends + 1 person with an intellectual disability = 4 people

Mariste Guardamar Centre (Alicante, Spain)
Accommodation: 200 places reserved
(possibility of a few more)
5. FACILITIES

the house
7. DATES
From Monday 31 July (evening) until Sunday 6
August 2017 (after breakfast), 6 nights…
8.PRICE
Price of stay (not including travel): 196,20 €
(32,70 € full board)
Criteria:
- Firstly, the participants are SENT by their province
and secondly, have the PRIVILEGE of being able to
experience such a meeting.
- Therefore the cost of the meeting will be spread as
follows:
 1/3 paid by the province
 1/3 paid by Faith and Light International
 1/3 by the participant him/herself
