DAY TRIP TO SWISS ALPS

PROGRAM and GOALS
•
gym camp combine 5 days of great gymnastics training and great recreation for unique
camp experience plus team building day trip to Swiss alps adventure parc (mountain
hiking,games in forest,zip line,climbing,parcour vita, outdoore trampoline and
swimming pool and water games in Champery
• The main aime of the camp is the development of our campers as gymnasts and
progress of physical preparation
• Learning new skills during school break
• Creating habits from an early age to stay active during summer holidays
• Gaining self confidence,feeling positive and suporting each other
• Starting your day with outside warm-up jogging and legs exercises
• Learning skills on 4 gymnastics events:vault,bars,beam and floor
• Tryout new skills on big trampoline and tumble track
• Join gym-dance classes for girls
• Improving your posture with exercises of classical ballet
• Becoming stronger and more flexible with conditioning & flexibility classes
• Playing sports games
DAILY PROGRAM

GENERAL INFORMATION

Campers should have sports shoes for running, leotard, bottle of water and lunch
• Camp will be held in ISL hall
For day trip campers should have good walking shoes, swimsuit, towel, sun cream,
hat, lunch package and snacks (8:00-18:00)
• Campers will be divided into groups according to age and ability
• Group is limited to 15 girls
• The camp will lead gymnastics coach Maja Bertouy
• Price of one week camp: 450 francs , payment on the first day of the camp

MAJA BERTOUY-PROFILE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
• Born 27.2.1976. in Osijek,Croatia
• Started to practice artistic gymnastics at age of 5
• Member of Croatian national junior and senior team
• After 13 years competing at professional level,became International gymnastics judge
and womans artistic gymnastic head coach in home town
• Study at University of pedagogy in Osijek,Croatia
• Study Gymnastics Coaching at the Educational Camp for Coaches of European Union
of gymnastics in Tirenia,Italy
• Specialization in womans artistic gymnastics in Cerkessk, Russia
• Specialization in womans artistic gymnastics and judging in Auckland, New Zealand
• Member of womans artistic gymnastics Tehnical Committee in Croatian Gymnastics
Federation
• Head coach of junior and senior national team in Croatia
• Creator of Croatian Adriatic summer gymnastics camp
• Coached all day sports activities with children in summer camp :
gymnastics,swimming,cross running and diving
• Coaching in several international schools
