The best game ever invented…..
The game is played for the most part, without the supervision of a referee. As in
golf the game depends on the integrity of the player. Scorecards are provided.
Our Footgolf course is independent, yet adjacent to our golf courses, therefore it
is imperative that you are quiet and respectful of the golfers playing around
you.
FOOTGOLF rules;
Keep pace with the other groups in play.
If you fall behind let players pass.
Wait for the ball to come to a complete stop before the next kick.
Tee shots must be played from behind the tee line up to 2 metres.
Play the ball as it lies, you cannot touch or accommodate it. You can mark
and lift your ball if it interferes with another player.
Only one ball must be in motion at any one time.
Loose articles may be removed without penalty (branches, leaves, stones
etc.)
You can lift or drop a ball without penalty if an immovable obstruction
hinders play (tee sign, fence, cart, etc.)
If a ball enters a hazard area which Is marked with red or yellow stakes, a
player must drop out of the hazard within two metres of the point of
entry, no nearer the hole, for a penalty of 1 stroke.
If a ball enters an area of ground under repair, which is either marked by
blue posts or white lined area stating G.U.R, a player must drop within 1
metre of the point of entry, no nearer the hole. No penalty.
When another player is to play do not stand directly behind them or in
line with the hole as this may cause a distraction.
Maximum store is 10 shots per hole.
The player farthest from the hole, is the first person to kick the ball.
Only on the green may your ball be picked up and cleaned.
