2016 LIFE Concept Note JNCC.degra.gov.uk/UKLIFE PROJECT CONCEPT NOTE FOR LIFE APPLICATIONS This concept note is designed to help applicants compile a basic project structure for the EU LIFE Programme before writing a full proposal to the European Commission. It is the first stage in writing a LIFE application and is typically a three page summary which helps frame the context of the project and it should be as quantifiable and specific as possible. The concept note can help you identify partners depending on the desired outcomes, scope, cost and duration of the project. The concept note not only helps you frame your thinking but can also assists us in evaluating the eligibility of your proposal or point you towards a more suitable funding programme. You can also use this to share with potential partners and to support other pieces of work such as compiling an internal business case etc. Before filling in the form it is essential to read the LIFE Multi-Annual Work Programme for 2014-2017. Concept notes for projects can be submitted at any time to JNCC. If you have any difficulties, contact [email protected] or for more LIFE information visit www.JNCC.gov.uk/UKLIFE. Once complete, please email this form to [email protected] Read me: The most successful projects are those most closely aligned to the LIFE call. Therefore READ the LIFE Multi-annual Work Programme and the LIFE Call guidance (this does not change substantially between years). This concept note is to help you frame your project ideas and enable us to provide appropriate support and guidance. Therefore we would like this concept note to be completed as fully as possible.
