To honor outstanding enterprises and individuals that have contributed to Asian
supply chain management development during the year 2013-2014, the Asia Council
of Supply Chain (ACSC) initiates the 2014 ACSC Awards Selection according to ACSC
regulations and development planning. This award selection also aims to set the
industry benchmark and improve Asian supply chain management level.
Please recommend your local outstanding enterprises and individuals in realm of
supply chain management to general secretariat.
1. ACSC Awards Setting
(1) The Best ACSC SCM CEO of Year 2014
(2) The Best ACSC SCM Achievement of Year 2014
(3) The Best ACSC SCM Business Model of Year 2014
2. ACSC Awards Selection Principles
(1) The selection shall conform to the principles of openness, fairness and
impartiality to make sure the process strict, orderly and efficient.
(2) No selection cost will be charged from enterprises or individuals during the
process.
(3) Nominations of candidates should be recommended by ACSC local secretariats.
Enterprises or individuals can recommend themselves as well. After the first
review of general secretariats, the presidium will conduct the second round of
review. The industrial media will announce the final winners.
(4) The ACSC awards the winners related plaques and certificates. The winners will
be invited to attend the award ceremony.
3. ACSC Awards Selection Conditions
A. The Best ACSC SCM CEO of the Year 2014
(1) Recommended person has high reputation or influence in realm of supply chain
management(same as below) in Asia.
(2) Recommended person has outstanding leadership, professional skills, advanced
management philosophy or sharp sense to market.
(3) Enterprise under management has mature operation model of supply chain

management and unique operation philosophy.
Recommended person has strong innovation ability on technology, market and
management, etc. in supply chain operation or management.
Enterprise under management has strong industrial competitiveness.
Enterprise under management had outstanding performance and good growth
during the year 2013-2014.
The Best ACSC SCM Achievement of the Year 2014
Recommended enterprise or institute has existed for more than three years with
comprehensive social awareness and good social image and brand.
(2) Recommended enterprise or institute has outstanding contribution to supply
chain innovation, supply chain performance, green supply chain, supply chain
finance, supply chain technology and public welfare of industrial development.
(3) Recommended enterprise or institute has high service quality, faithful and
standardized market behavior without major product or service disputes during
year 2013-2014.
(4) Recommended enterprise or institute has employed more than 100 staffs with
good economic benefit and strong sustainable development ability. Its operating
revenue reaches more than 50 million(RMB) or profits tax reaches more than 5

Recommended enterprise or institute plays a leading role in this realm with
perfect management system and performance in innovation of idea,
management, system, technology and service, etc.

The Best ACSC SCM Business Model of Year 2014
Recommended enterprise or institute has existed for more than two years with
good social image. It has high service quality, faithful and standardized market
behavior without major product or service disputes during year 2013-2014.
(2) Recommended enterprise or institute has employed more than 50 staffs with
good economic benefit and strong sustainable development ability. Its operating
revenue reaches more than 30 million(RMB) or profits tax reaches more than 3
million (RMB) during year 2013-2014.
(3) Recommended enterprise or institute’s main economic and technical indexes,
profit-tax rate of capital, profit ratio of production, working capital turnover rate,
overall labor productivity, etc. have a leading position in the industry. The

development speed and market shares of recommended enterprise or institute
outpaces the average level of industry during year 2013-2014.
(4) With perfect management network, scientific management system and positive
spirit of innovation, recommended enterprise or institute has outstanding
performance in innovation of idea, management, system, technology and service,
etc.

ACSC Awards Selection Methods
Release Recommendation Form
Organizer release ACSC Award selection circular and recommendation form to
secretariats, related enterprises, research institutes, industrial groups and
individuals through media, fax, email, internet, etc. to collect recommendations.
Recommendation Ways
Candidates can be recommended by secretariats, themselves, experts and
media or association jointly.
Collection and Handling of Recommendation forms
The secretariats collect the recommendations forms and conduct the first
review according selection standard, then present the candidates’ information
to presidium.
(4) Selection Commission Review
Presidium of the organizer establishes selection commission and set candidates
after display.
(5) Award Presentation
The award presentation ceremony will be held during “The 2nd Asia Supply
Chain Management Forum and ACSC Annual Meeting of Year 2014”(2014
Aug.22-23, Taipei)
(6) Award and Certificate
Organizer will award winners related trophy and certificate in award ceremony.
