modular gas processing plants

MODULAR GAS PROCESSING PLANTS
CUSTOM DESIGNED AT ANY SCALE
THE SUPERIOR GAS PROCESSING SOLUTION
Pioneer Energy’s propriety Deep Refrigeration™ technology is deployed in any size plant to
achieve the most complete separation and product capture available in the industry.
Pioneer Energy provides a skid mounted, modular, completely integrated processing plant
designed to meet the unqiue requrements of each and every project. The specific makeup,
size, and design of the modules for the plant are selected based on the composition, pressure
and flow of the raw gas to be processed, as well as the desired product specifications. Each
module is plug-and-play with the other modules in the plant, with all of them managed through
our propriety remote plant management software. Pioneer Energy’s engineering team further
customizes our modular plants to address customers’ unique challenges such as high CO2
content, H2S removal and more.

HOW DO PIONEER’S GAS PLANTS WORK?
The Gas Plant system is comprised of four unit operations
Raw natural gas is first compressed and then dehydrated. The dry compressed gas is then refrigerated down to –70°C, causing the high
molecular weight components to liquefy. A sophisticated separation system dissociates the gas into three value streams.
PIONEER’S GAS PLANT PRODUCT STREAMS
• Lean Methane: Suitable for fully rated power generation, equipment operation, or conversion to CNG.
• Natural Gas Liquids: Suitable for onsite storage and transportation to market.
• Residue Ethane Gas: Consumed on board as part of the Gas Plant operations.
•Note: The NGLs can be further fractionated by Pioneer Energy’s equipment into commercial propane, LPG, commercial butane and
pentane/hexane condensate. The products of the secondary processing are customizable based on the requirements of the customers
and local standards.
