Position: PhD Student in "Biogenesis and turnover of mitochondrial intermembrane space
proteins" WELCOME project
Number of stipends: 2
Institution : International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (www.iimcb.gov.pl) in Warsaw
Maximum period of stipend agreement: 17 months within the WELCOME project with a possibility
of prolongation from a different funding source.
Position starts on : July-August 2013
Stipend’s amount: 3 500 zł/month
Pension insurance: yes
Key responsibilities include:
to investigate fundamental biological processes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis with particular
focus on the trafficking and turnover of proteins
Profile of candidates:
1. Full university degree in biology, biotechnology or related sciences
2. The command of Polish language is not mandatory

mobility, research experience)
