Mercado, Ph.D. Adviser March 2012 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Card games are popular among people since the ancient times. Cards are the primary device in playing these games; moreover, it involves techniques and strategies that make people addicted on playing this over and over. In the Philippines, Tong-Its is a traditional card game that is very popular among Filipinos. It can be played anywhere and anytime as long as the deck of card is present. Mobile Tong-Its is a Filipino card game which is brought to android mobile phones fir entertainment. Since Filipinos are hooked in playing tong-its, the team decided to integrate an application that will be synthesizing both the traditional and modern technology to play the card game. This project contains the phases, requirements and tools that are essential during the development of Mobile Tong-Its. The project uses SCRUM Methodology in the development of the project. The Mobile Tong-Its is a multiplayer game application for Android phones that was developed using AndEngine as the gaming engine. An access point is used to allow all devices to connect with each other and play the game. Different devices were used upon testing the application but Mobile Tong-Its only worked on a particular version of Android which is Android v2.2.1. The game was developed for a maximum of three players but it was only tested and played by two players. Mobile Tong-Its is a two to three players card game that is played by touch.
