Purpose
To allow District and prospective teams to meet,
discuss the requirements of this RFQ, and provide
information regarding the Design Build process related
to the District’s new Parking Structure.
Please note that nothing said in this meeting changes the
requirements of the written RFQ and addenda. All questions
should be followed up with an email as directed in the RFQ
documents.

• This is a Mandatory Meeting, and must be attended by at
least one representative of the Design Build Entity in order
to prequalify
• Please be sure to sign the Attendee Sign-in Sheet

The following is a tentative milestone schedule for this
procurement (subject to change)

• Proposals Due Thursday, June 29, 2017

• Issue August/September 2017
• Interviews November/December 2017
• Board of Trustees’ Approval of DB Agreement January/February 2018

Scope of Work
The following is a brief description of the Project. Additional
detail will be provided in the RFP, so no questions directly
related to the scope will be answered at this time.
• Approximately 800 to 1000 stall parking structure
• Located in Lot O
• Preliminary Budget is $18.5 million for construction
(subject to change)
• Structure may not be any higher in elevation than the top
of the new Performing Arts Center

Procurement Process
• As defined in the RFQ, this is a “two part” process
• RFQ
• RFQs will be scored and rated
• The top 3 (subject to change) will be identified and invited to
participate in the Design Build Competition
• RFP
• RFP will be a “best value” process as defined by code
• Committee will evaluate proposals and select DBE
