Curriculum Presentation: Intellectually Gifted Program
In accordance with the Mississippi Gifted Education Program Standards for Evaluation and
Monitoring as approved by the State Board of Education in 2013:
"The gifted contact person or coordinator makes an annual presentation to the
local school board concerning the status of the gifted education program."

Inteilectually Spring Screening Data
711 First graders participated in the Universal Intellectually Gifted Screener in March,
2017.
209 First graders or 29.3% of the population scored at or above the 90^*^ percentile on
the Universal gifted screener. 138 of these students will proceed to the final phase of
the Intellectually Gifted Assessment process.
107 Second-Fifth grade students were screened during the school year, and 52 students
scored in the 91^^ percentile or above.
