NOTIFICATION OF TEST PIT EXCAVATION IN VIOLA BEACH
Further soils investigation will be completed in Viola Beach on May 2, 2016.
The test pit will commence once utility locates have been completed. MPE Engineering Ltd. anticipates
that the utilities will be located by May 2, 2016.
MPE Engineering Ltd. and Cobra Property Development Ltd. will be onsite completing a test pit
excavation. Cobra will have a backhoe on site to excavate a test pit off the side of the road in a
grassed area. Soil from the excavation will be temporarily stored in the ditch and the test pit will be
filled in by the end of the day.
Traffic will not be disturbed during the test pit excavation.
There will be one test pit excavated in Viola Beach. Refer to the diagram below for the test pit location.
