1. INTRODUCTION
2. ASSEMBLY
Light pipe assemblies consist of clear polycarbonate
pipes and stainless steel brackets (see Figure 1) that
clamp over Stacked Small Form-Factor Pluggable
(SFP) cages, in order to transfer light.
1. Seat the one-high or two-high cage in the printed
circuit board according to Application Specification
114-13103 and 114-13120. See Figure 2.

2. Slide the light pipe assembly over the cage until
the windows on the bracket snap securely over the
locators on the cage. On one-high assemblies, the
light pipes must be “angled-in,” as shown in 
Figure 3.
3. The completed assemblies should appear as
shown in Figure 4.
