BOISE PROJECT BOARD OF CONTROL VOLUNTEER WATER REDUCTION by: Tim Page, Project Manager Boise Project Board of Control (BPBC) (208) 344‐1141 July 23, 2014 The Boise Project Board of Control held meetings on the 18th of July at the Lake Lowell and Wilder offices to inform the patrons and/or landowners of the need to reduce flows out of Lake Lowell to prevent the Lake from being drawn down too fast until the Lake turns around and starts filling again in the first part of September. This voluntary reduction has been requested throughout the entire Project. This is needed to be able to maintain an appropriate head in order to deliver water through the end of the irrigation season, which could be sometime in the first part of October. It appears the voluntary reduction of surface irrigation water has helped in reducing the flows out of Lake Lowell in order to maintain an acceptable draw down through July and August, therefore Boise Project Board of Control will continue to operate in this mode, unless otherwise notified. Tim Page is the Project Manager for the Boise Project Board of Control. # # #
