The following are guidelines for the proper use of your Red Card

DINING DISCOUNT BLACK CARD GUIDELINES
Policy applies to: Restaurant Team Members
The following are procedural guidelines for the Company’s complimentary dining discount benefit through the
use of the Black Dining Discount Card (“Black Card”). Failure to comply with any of these guidelines may result
in Black Card privileges being revoked.
 Hourly team members are eligible to receive a Black Card upon hire. One card per employee will be
distributed upon the successful completion of the SURF Training and Testing Program and Test.

The dining discount for a Black Card is 25% off of food and non-alcoholic beverages. There is no discount
on alcoholic beverages in any restaurant or concept. Alcoholic beverages must be paid in cash or with a
credit card (i.e., American Express or Visa).

The Black Card may be used at all company owned Friday’s, Front Row Sports Grill, Friday’s American Bar,
and all participating Friday’s franchises (except International). The Black Card may be used for the
employee, family members (i.e. parents, siblings, spouse and children) and any guests. Also, the
cardholder must be present when the card is being used.

Black Card usage may be limited to certain days of the week during the introduction and development of a
new Brand. Cardholders will be notified of these special circumstances via e-mail.

Typically, the Black Card may be used for up to six (6) guests; however, for parties of six (6) or more, the
employee must request approval of their General Manager and the General Manager of the unit being
visited prior to using a Black Card.

The Black Card should be used similar to a standard credit card (i.e., American Express or Visa).

The Black Card may be used for table service ONLY. No discount will be given on deliveries or takeout
orders. The discount may not be used during a shift (i.e., between a “double”).

A tip should always be given. The customary amount to tip is 20% of the total bill before any discounts. If
unsatisfactory food or service has been received, it should be brought to the attention of the manager on
duty and a tip should still be left. A tip may be paid in cash or charged to a credit card (i.e., American
Express or Visa).

If more than one Black Card is present at the table, the server should not be asked to divide the check
among Cardholders. One Black Card should be selected to use prior to ordering.

Do not monopolize tables for long periods of time. This reduces volume as well as the income of our
servers.

Any misconduct or discourtesy toward customers or employees will result in revocation of your Black Card.

The cardholder must be an active employee. Employees on a personal leave of absence (i.e., returning to
school) will be asked to turn in their card until they return to work. This does not include a medical leave
of absence.

BLACK DINING DISCOUNT CARD AGREEMENT
FOR RESTAURANT TEAM MEMBERS
The Cardholder acknowledges receipt of a Black Card from TGI Fridays issued in the above name. By using, or
for any reason, permitting others to use the Black Card, the Cardholder agrees with TGI Fridays to the
following:
1.
The Cardholder agrees to use the Card only for the purpose of obtaining goods and services rendered by
TGI Fridays and to follow the rules and regulations of the Card published by TGI Fridays. TGI Fridays may,
at any time, and for any reason whatsoever, refuse to honor the Card.
2.
The Card shall, at all times, remain the property of TGI Fridays. The Cardholder agrees to surrender the
Card to TGI Fridays on demand. If the Card is lost or stolen, the Cardholder must give notice to TGI Fridays
at the corporate office, as soon as possible.
3.
Should audit procedures determine that the discount percentage was incorrectly calculated at the point of
sale, the Cardholder agrees to reimburse TGI Fridays the difference between the initially calculated
discount and the actual discounted amount. The Cardholder grants the company the right to withhold
from the team members’ wages said difference, except where prohibited by law. At no time, will any
amount withheld reduce wages below the minimum wage.
4.
The Cardholder understands that any infraction of the “Black Card Guidelines”, listed on the back of this
sheet, may result in confiscation of the Card and revocation of its privileges. Also, the Cardholder
understands that the granting of this privilege does not create an employment contract or a contract to
provide this privilege.
PROCEDURES

When using the Black Card in restaurants other than your home restaurant, you may be required to
provide a picture form of ID. Your refusal to comply with this request may result in refusal of service or
your discount.

To report a lost or stolen Black Card or to obtain a replacement for a worn Black Card, notify your General
Manager and a new one will be issued.
