‘MICROBIOTA DIRECTORY’ INFO SHEET
INSTRUCTIONS
This document is designed to collect all of the pertinent information relating to a PRI
member company and its activities in the field of probiotics. The information documented in this
form will be used to complete the company’s entry found in an online search engine known as
the ‘Microbiota Directory’, which will be accessible from the PRI website
(www.pharmabiotic.org/microbiota-directory).
Any and all information below is strictly voluntary; however, the more complete the
following information is the more accurate potential clients’/suppliers’ searches will be on the
Directory.
There are two types of information requested for the Directory – the Profile Page and the
Search Filter Information. The Profile Page will appear when someone performs a search and
clicks on your firm’s search result. The Profile Page will be your opportunity to present your
company, its activities, products, services, etc… it is therefore very important to incorporate as
many keywords about your firm as possible so as to ensure the best ranking on keyword
searches. Contact the PRI Coordinator Joseph Simmons if you have any questions about this.
The Profile Page will also showcase your firm’s logo, address, website, contact information,
company presentation, etc…
The Search Filter Information will be used by those performing searches to filter
information about companies in the Directory. Using these search filters is not mandatory;
searchers will be able to enter a keyword or string of keywords in order to perform a simple
search. However, if a firm would like to be visible under, for instance, ‘Firm looking for:
Distribution Opportunities & Contract Manufacturing’, the Search Filter information is a good
option.
