This 24- hour training program teaches the essentials of
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). The training prepares
individuals to begin or sustain the appropriate use of this
evidence-based practice. (You will receive an attendance
certificate for 24 hours.)
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is for social workers, psychologists, counselors,
and others interested in the practice of CBT.

Training is limited to the first 24
registrants.

Participants will discuss and learn basic concepts and
techniques of the Cognitive Behavioral Model
Participants will discuss and learn effective CBT
exercises and strategies to utilize and apply as
therapeutic interventions with clients
Participants will review the clinical disorders and
diagnosis that are most effective to respond to CBT
treatment
Participants will review various clinical inventories that
are useful CBT assessment tools
Participants will be evaluated throughout the training
process to gage the understanding of material
Faculty: Danielle Coleman
Danielle has over fifteen years of experience working with
children and families. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in
Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She is a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed School Social
Worker, a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers,
and a Clinical Supervisor for practicing social workers. She
maintains a professional membership with the National
Association of Social Workers, and sits on the Community
Advisory Board for the Department of Social Work at UNCCharlotte.

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel 3 business days (before 5:00 p.m.) prior to the training event in order to receive
refund on your registration. If cancellation is not made at this time, no refund will be given. A $15 administrative
processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.
Return Check Policy: “A $25 fee will be assessed by the NC Council for all returned checks”

Parking is located behind the building. Turn onto Stafford Road, across the street from the McDonalds, make a right on
the street next to the apartment building. The back door in the “L” shape part of the building is unlocked, just pull the door
to open. Walk to the front of the building and NC Council will be on your right, in Suite 100.

it cannot be processed.
