HOW TO ENTER MATCH RESULTS ONLINE
ON ACCESSING THE HOME PAGE OF ‘ONLINE-BOWLS’ (www.online-bowls.com).
Alongside ‘Preston District North’, click on the link ‘Preston and District Amateur’. This
will take you to the home page of our league.
Once on our home page, the left hand column shows various links to other pages of our
league, select ‘Fixtures’.
You will now see all the fixtures for the corresponding week in divisional order.
For each fixture, there is an ‘envelope icon’ and on clicking the envelope for your fixture,
a new window will open showing a ‘match result card’ in which to enter results.

PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:1. Enter your name and email address in the top panel.
2. Enter *player names and scores, as you would normally do when making out the
‘posted match result card’.
* Where teams have players with the same initial for forename and same surname, inform
your opposing captain (if away), as these player names are to be entered IN FULL.
3. Enter match aggregates (total chalks) for each team.
4. Enter match result points (including bonus win, draw points) for each team.
5. If you have any comments about a game or your match, you can add them by overwriting the ‘Add Any Comments Here’ in the bottom panel.
Once the result card has been filled in and submitted you will receive a warning that ‘not all
fields have been collated’ and a further two (2) columns appear asking for ‘individual
player aggregates’, enter ‘0’ (zero) into each of these boxes.
6. Having entered ‘0’ (zero) into all the boxes, you can re-submit your result.
The same procedures as above also comply with cup matches, but also add the handicaps
to the match aggregates.

Match result cards received on registration evening (and cup match result cards when
received) are still to be made out, signed by both captains and are to be retained by all
teams.
