The Kite Unit is part of the Solent Neurological Rehabilitation
Service (SNRS) run by Solent NHS Trust. The Kite Unit is a
neuropsychiatric service providing rehabilitation to individuals
with a brain injury whose impairments are largely in the cognitive,
behavioural or mental health spectrum.

Description of Service
We provide multidisciplinary care pathways to facilitate
rehabilitation, assessment, treatment and disability management
for people often requiring slow stream rehabilitation that may not
be available from other services. We offer a comprehensive range
of services that include: Assessment, Treatment, Rehabilitation
interventions, and The development of coping strategies to aid
Disability management.

Headway, The Learning Place , Omega Centre, Social Service and
other link in area where patients are discharge including Private
provider.

Off site: No staff room within the building site but can use empty
room e.g. Activity room, relaxation room etc.

available in manager’s office
