Membership Descriptions
Executive Tennis: This membership allows full access to all tennis, swim, fitness and
clubhouse amenities.
Family Tennis: This membership allows a family full access to all tennis, swim, fitness
and clubhouse amenities. (This membership includes two or more family members
residing in the same household. Dependents must be under the age of 18 and share the
same residence as the primary members.)
Junior Executive Tennis: This membership is for persons under 28 and allows full
access to all tennis, swim, fitness and clubhouse amenities.
Junior Tennis: This membership is for persons under 21 and allows full access to all
tennis, swim, fitness and clubhouse amenities.
Non-Resident Tennis: This membership is for persons whose primary residence is 50
or more miles from the club. (Must show valid driver’s license for proof of residency.)
Swim Membership: This membership allows full access to all swim, fitness and
clubhouse amenities.
Social Membership: This membership is offered on a case-by-case basis and only
allows use of the restaurant, lounge & bar. (No tennis, swim, or fitness center privileges
are allowed with this membership, nor is this membership available to members of other
tennis/racquet clubs.)

In applying for membership, the applicant addresses that tenure of membership
and the right of all persons entitled to use, though applicant’s membership, any
facilities of the Club, shall be governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Club
adopted and as the same may be hereafter amended; the applicant further states
that this application is made with a complete understanding if the following
conditions, privileges and restrictions governing the membership for which
application is made:
1.
Membership shall not confer upon any member any right, ownership,
or interest in any if the assets or property of the Club, or made
available to the Club.
2.
Membership is not a guarantee that the Club facilities will always be
available; the owner of the Club reserves the right to terminate all
memberships and close the facilities at any time after reasonable
notice to members. In the event of such closing, no refund will be
made.
3.
Membership shall not be subject to assessment, and shall not make
any member financially responsible for costs of operation or any other
obligation of the Club.
4.
Membership shall be subject to review annually by the Advisory Board,
who may, in their absolute sole discretion, determine not to renew any
member any membership or determine on what basis membership
shall be renewed.
I, on behalf of myself, my family members, guests, and successors hereby agree
to indemnify and hold harmless the Newport Beach Tennis Club, its officers,
partners, directors, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims,
actions, liabilities, damages of any Club facilities or participation in any Club
sponsored events on or in connection with property owned or maintained by the
NBTC. I herby consent that my family members may receive medical treatment
by any paramedics, ambulance services, physician or hospital selected by the
NBTC in connection with any personal injury or medical condition requiring
treatment occurring during the use of any Club facilities or in participation of any
Club sponsored events or the use of property owed or maintained by the NBTC.
I do hereby authorize the NBTC to verify the information contained herein stated,
and do further request that all information be treated in a confidential manner.
I understand that I may resign my membership at any time upon thirty (30) days
written notice in advance, provided all dues and other indebtedness to the Club
are paid in full prior to resignation. There shall be no prorated or refund of the
monthly dues or initiation fees.

I, the undersigned, herby apply and subscribe for a membership at the Newport
Beach Tennis Club (NBTC). I agree to the initiation fee, monthly dues, and food
minimum.
I understand that as a member I do not acquire or have ownership interest in any
asset or property of the NBTC, nor any liability of said club.
I understand that NBTC may from time to time establish a change in monthly
dues for each class of membership.
All material conditions of the application are contained herein. The NBTC will not
be bound by any representation not contained in its printed matter. Candidates
for membership are subject to selection by the NBTC. The Club reserves the
right to reject any application for membership
The rights, duties and obligations of all club members are governed by the
provisions of the NBTC Rules and Regulations as outlined in the policies of

Liability Waiver and Release

conditioning machinery, tennis and swimming offered by the Newport Beach
Tennis Club (NBTC).

NBTC activities.
In consideration of my voluntary participation in these activities, I hereby release
NBTC and its employees, agents and owners from any claims, demands and or
case of action arising from such participation.
Should I injure myself as a result of my participation in any NBTC activity, I
hereby release NBTC from any liability now or in the future as a result of any
injuries sustained by me or to any of my guests, or to my property or my guests
property- except for those injuries die to gross negligence of NBTC and its

The Newport Beach Tennis Club has beautiful locker room facilities available for
your use. They are completely stocked daily with towels, soap, deodorant, hair
dryers and various other products.
As a member, you may chose to have a locker, either half or full size. Please
