Hibernian Masters– Lifesaving Team At a recent meeting of the Sports Commission, it was agreed to form a new lifesaving team, for the purposes of international competition. Hibernian Masters Lifesaving Team was proposed. Being a member of this team will allow competitors to join together for international masters events, and have enough competitors for relays. Competitors must be a member of IWS. They must declare for their own county as a first choice. If that county is not competing at the international event – they can then compete with the Hibernian Masters team. Hibernian Masters Team may not compete in National Events. Masters must compete for their county in home events. Example:Cork are entered for worlds masters – any masters competitor from Cork must compete with Cork. Clare are not entered for world masters, so any Co Clare competitor can then compete with the Hibernian masters As membership of IWS is compulsory, and initially to their own counties, competitors must complete the membership form and return it to Daniel Wrafter, to request adding their name to the Hibernian Masters Team. Steps:Become member of IWS, through your own county. Complete Hibernian Masters membership form 7 fee of €10 (admin fee) Hibernian Masters entry for international events will be done by one source – Daniel Wrafter IWS HQ can then certify that competitors are members of Hibernian for min 3 months Hibernian Masters Team Membership Form Name:_______________________________________________ Address:_____________________________________________ Date of Birth:______________ Phone:__________________ IWS Membership of County_____________________________ I am a current member of IWS, I wish my name to be registered with the Hibernian Masters Team for international events, where my County team are not participating.
