PRESS RELEASE | 2012-08-29
Pioneering step in offers for families: child-friendly SkiWelt
Top offer for all families: children up to the age of 15
can go skiing free at SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental!
This innovation will make headlines: the resort of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental,
which is known for being particularly family-friendly (and which has won many
awards) is going one stage further in its offers to families: from this winter onwards
all children up to 15 years old go free in the family weeks in the off-season.
In the Family Ski Weeks a family skiing holiday is a bargain holiday: from 08 to
21 December and from 16 March to 7 April all children up to 15 years of age go
free in SkiWelt. The only pre-condition: one parent buys a ski pass valid for at
least 3 days’ duration.
Families feel at home in SkiWelt. Wide, gentle slopes and many blue pistes (for
beginners and families) mean that it is particularly family-friendly, and child
safety features at all chairlift facilities make the whole skiing experience with
young ones a stress-free pleasure. No fewer than 19 ski schools offer the best
instruction for even the youngest ski slope enthusiasts, and they have dedicated
children's ski and practice areas. There is even provision in the ski resort itself
for small child care (from the age of 5 months) – so that parents can relax on
their own and create a few stylish tracks in the snow for themselves. A particular
hit are the "Mini Carvers", an attraction developed by the Scheffau skiing school,
who are special skiers for the very small ones, enabling these young skiers to make
their first attempts on the children's slopes.
And when the kids are somewhat older, the three Funparks in Ellmau, Söll and
Westendorf are on offer – here the freestylers can practise their tricks or simply
chill out and enjoy the day. New for the winter season 2012/13: in Hochsöll there
will be a Funslope Area with 3 slopes of all degrees of difficulty. Fun for the whole
family is also offered by the many toboggan runs in SkiWelt – many of them also
lit and operating at night: Astberg in Ellmau/Going (brand new with snow-making
equipment and lighting), Hexenritt and the Mondrodelbahn in Söll. Special experiences for the whole family are also provided by the night ski runs (Söll, Ellmau)
and the unique Alpine Igloo Village in Hochbrixen with ice display, bar and sun
lounge.
NEW: SkiWelt Family Weeks - children up to 15 years old go FREE!
If one parent buys a SkiWelt ski pass valid for a duration of at least 3
days, children up to the age of 15 years (year of birth 1997-2006) go
free in the same period. This offer is valid from the beginning of the
season until 21.12.2012 and from 16.3. to 7.4.2013
