Student Affairs is essentially covering the cost of the Post Office for the
entire university, subsidizing $90,000 in addition to housing mailboxes.
•
Postal Supervisor is taking VSP. This will only leave one full-time
employee to administer the entire campus mail and postal operation.
Position must be filled to continue existing functions.
• Estimated VSP expense = $22,489
•
The VSP expense could be realized through a rate increase for box rent
and deliveries, to slightly spread the weight of the postal service
throughout the entire campus community.
